]1878-P VAM-186B Broken R, Very Over Polished Wing

186B II 2 • B2c (Broken R, Very Over Polished Wing) ( ? ) I-3 R-5
Obverse II 2– Some raised die chips in lower loop of first 8. 7 doubled on right side. Ear is doubled on left inside and right outside. Weak nostril.
Reverse B2c– Broken R,open o (god),Eagle’s left wing very over polished with missing feathers in center and lower inside.
Eagles right wing is polished in center and inside feather next to leg is almost gone.

Comments: Vam 186B is very easy to find in au up to the lower ms grades,scarce in ms63, rare in 64 or better.
The KEY diagnostic for this VAM is the Over Polished wing.
