Discovered by Eugene Reader, March 1973.

Reverse A1i - Slight doubling of UNITED, TTES, and MERICA on bottom of letters toward rim and of ONE DOLLAR on tops of letters toward coin rim. Right star is doubled on right side. Slight doubling on outside of wreath. Three small feathers added on eagle's right and two on eagle's left side between leg and bottom of wing. Field has more curvature than any other Morgan dollar and is especially concave near rim.

Comments: Generally considered to be a listing error, this VAM is not known to exist. Although, the reverse is used by other listed VAMs.

No LVA Plate Photo:

Additional photos:
A single coin was slabbed by ANACS in the past as VAM-13, an MS63. It is actually a VAM 3.
